Parental Partnership

At East Hunsbury Primary School, we know that strong partnerships with families create strong foundations for learning. When school and home work together children thrive - and that is why parental engagement is at the heart of everything we do.

In our 2025 parental survey, 100% of parents said they would recommend our school to another family. That speaks volumes about the trust and relationships we build. 

We are East Hunsbury Primary School is not just a phrase - it is a lived experience. 

Every child and every family are part of our EHPS family and we work hard to ensure communication is open, clear and positive.

We offer regular opportunities for families to share in their child’s education, including:

• Walk-in Wednesdays

• Class assemblies and performances

• Parents’ Evenings and termly reports

• Community events that bring us together

• Chatter Matters which is a half-termly opportunity for families with a child with SEND to come together for support and chat.

We also keep communication simple and accessible through Class Dojo, our messaging system and regular updates on our Facebook page. Together we make sure every child feels supported and celebrated.

We also encourage families not to wait if they have a question or worry – our door is always open and we are ready to listen.
